Jazz in the Gardens was a blast. Day one…we hit the ground running. First the meet and greet with Charlie Wilson. What I love about Charlie is, he is so down to earth and he’s an all around great guy. He talked about his new album, “Just Charlie” and even bought everyone lunch. Plus, he made a prediction…he said he was going to bring down the house at Jazz in the Gardens. Who doesn’t want to see Uncle Charlie rock out!? I know I did.
Saturdays performances kicked off with Lalah Hathaway, Al Jarreau, Heads of State, Charlie Wilson and the ohhhhh so late…Lauryn Hill. We know how she rolls. *side-eye* Let me tell you, Uncle Charlie didn’t disappoint…he gave the showstopping performance of the night HANDS DOWN!!! He was right in his prediction! Thanks to the NLPGimages.com team for rolling with a sista all weekend.
